Hi everyone, Spaceman here. πŸ‘¨β€πŸš€ Welcome to day 1 of my new EP launch.Β  πŸŽ‰πŸŽˆ I’d like to thank you very much for joining the 7 day experience. 🎡 I hope you all really enjoy it.Β  I have prepared a lot of material for your viewing and listening pleasure.Β  This is all exclusive content just for you, my supporters. The music and videos will not be available on streaming services for some weeks to come.

For those of you who may not know me very well and are not familiar with my story, very briefly, my name is Spaceman Africa. I am a singer/songwriter 🎀🎸from Canberra, Australia. In 2002,Β  I thought it would be funny to change my name legally when I was drunk on a bender in Ireland, hence my unusual name. I’ve travelled all around the world and been to over 50 countries. My songs are about funny stories from my life experiences. I sometimes perform solo with an acoustic guitar and other times I perform as part of a three piece rock band. My fellow band mates are Miss J Love (MJ) on bass guitar 🎸 and Nicholas Lee-Murphy on drums. πŸ₯ At the bottom of this page is a link to my website, where you can learn more about me and my music.

This EP is the follow up to my debut album, released in 2018, Africa As In The Continent, which is available on alll major streaming sites. My EP, I Never Felt So Alive,Β was recorded at 2410 Records in Canberra. The EP was mixed by Chris Arkely-Smith and mastered by Mellyeah. The EP cover artwork is by Kieron Pratt. All songs are written by me, Spaceman Africa.Β

We start the EP launch with track 1: ⭐ I Used Up All My Sick Days So I Called in Dead ⭐

This song relates to the same bender in Ireland in 2002 when I decided to change my name legally. I was living and work in London in the UK. I went on a weekend away to Ireland to meet up with some friends. When it was time to return back to London, I was having such a good time with my friends that I decided to stay in Ireland. I was due back at my warehouse job in London but I was relived of my duties when my mate Crazy Horse phoned my work and told them I’d been killed in a car accident. I was then free to continue travelling around Ireland.

And so here it is. πŸ‘ The video for I Used Up All My Sick Days So I Called in Dead. Enjoy!Β  πŸ˜€
